Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) Teaching According to Holy Quran

Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) Teaching According to Holy Quran
MUHAMMAD, and as time may permit, only a few salient features may be attempted. In dealing with his teachings it may well be summarized in the historic answer which his wife Ayesha gave in response to a question about the morals and character of the Holy Prophet, on whom be peace. She said: His morals and character are an embodiment of the Holy Qur'an. Thus in dealing with the teachings of the Holy Prophet, on whom be peace, we necessarily speak on the Teachings of the Holy Qur'an, since to him was revealed the Holy Qur'an by God Almighty thus his teachings are contained in the very Word of God and not of his manufacture. If one were to discuss the teachings contained in the Holy Qur'an then it would require hours on end and still one would not be able to exhaust all the beautiful teachings which it holds out for humanity. It is therefore advised, th ...

I will ask my Lord to forgive you: for verily He is ever affectionate to me

I will ask my Lord to forgive you: for verily He is ever affectionate to me
Interpretation of Sura Maryam (Mary) - Verse 47: " He said: 'Peace be upon you: I will ask my Lord to forgive you: for verily He is ever affectionate to me'." Commentary The word /haqq/ is applied for the person who regards the complete goodness and benevolence unto another person; 28 and sometimes it is used in the sense of 'a scholar'.  In these verses, the spiritual conditions of a believer and those of a disbeliever are clearly seen in their disputes.  1. Abraham speaks affectionately, while his uncle speaks roughly. Abraham addresses his uncle four times with the phrase "O my father!" but his idolatrous uncle, even once, did not call him 'O my son'.  2. Abraham (a.s.) speaks reasonably, while 'A-zar speaks without reasonless. Abraham says: "Why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees…?", 29 but 'A-zar says "my gods" 30  3. Abraha ...

The System of Plant Symbiosis in Quran

The System of Plant Symbiosis in Quran
The Qur’anic verses give prominence to the issue of marriage and coupling both in animate and human as well as in objects and examinates. The following text adopted from “The Islamic Family Instruction”‌ by Hussein Ansaryan exemplifies and interprets this issue. The system of combining or in other words; pollination and reproduction in the vegetable and plant kingdoms is carried out in such a way that any onlooker would get thoroughly astonished. It is impossible here to explain all the aspects of this important matter, since it would take up too much time. In a few sentences, a brief look at this wonderful scientific fact accompanied by its especial conditions and surprising laws as well as its extremely accurately arranged plans, will be presented to my dear readers. If one has paid especial attention to the various flowers, one may see some de ...

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: Exhorting people for jihad

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: Exhorting people for jihad
By my life there will be no regard for anyone nor slackening from me in fighting against one who opposes right or gropes in misguidance. O' creatures of Allah, fear Allah and flee unto Allah from His wrath (seek protection in His Mercy). Tread on the path He has laid down for you and stand by what He has enjoined upon you. In that case `Ali would stand surety for your success (salvation) eventually even though you may not get it immediately (i.e. in this world). SERMON 24 ...

Your land is close to the sea ...
Your earth is close to the sea and away from the sky. Your wits have become light and your minds are full of folly. You are the aim of the archer, a morsel for the eater and an easy prey for the hunter. Source: Nahjul Balagha, ESRMON 14 ...

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: Lo, Satan has brought together …

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: Lo, Satan has brought together ...
About Talhah and az-Zubayr  Beware! Satan  has collected his group and assembled his horse-men and foot-soldiers. Surely, with me is my sagacity. I have neither deceived myself nor ever been deceived. By Allah I shall fill to the brim for them a cistern from which I alone would draw water. They can neither turn away from it nor return to it. When Talhah and az-Zubayr broke away by violating the Oath of allegiance and set for Basrah in the company of `A'ishah, Amir al-mu'minin spoke in these words which are part of the long speech.   Ibn Abi'l-Hadid has written that in this sermon Satan denotes the real Satan as well as Mu`awiyah because Mu`awiyah was secretly conspiring with Talhah and az-Zubayr and instigating them to fight against Amir al-mu'minin but the reference to the real Satan is more appropriate, obvious and in accord with the situation an ...

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: Praise belongs to God

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: Praise belongs to God
A prayer which Amir al-mu'minin often recited  Praise be to Allah! Who made me such that I have not died nor am I sick, nor have my veins been infected with disease, nor have I been hauled up for my evil acts, nor am I without progeny, nor have I forsaken my religion, nor do I disbelieve in my Lord, nor do I feel strangeness with my faith, nor is my intelligence affected, nor have I been punished with the punishment of peoples before me. I am a slave in Thy possession, I have been guilty of excesses over myself. Thou hast exhausted Thy pleas over me and I have no plea (before Thee). I have no power to take except what Thou givest me, and I cannot evade except what Thou savest me from. O' my Allah! I seek Thy protection from becoming destitute despite Thy riches, from being misguided despite Thy guidance, from being molested in Thy realm and from being h ...

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: My God, save my face

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: My God, save my face
Supplication   O' my Allah! preserve (the grace of) my face with easiness of life and do not disgrace my countenance with destitution, lest I may have to beg a livelihood from those who beg from Thee, try to seek the favour of Thy evil creatures, engage myself in praising those who give to me, and be tempted in abusing those who do not give to me, although behind all these Thou art the master of giving and denying.  . . . Verily Thou over all things, art the All-powerful. (Qur'an, 66:8) Sermon 223 ...

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: The property is neither mine nor yours

Lessons of Nahjul Balagha: The property is neither mine nor yours
`Abdullah ibn Zama`ah who was one of the followers of Amir al-mu'minin came to him during his Caliphate to ask for some money when Amir al-mu'minin said:  This money is not for me nor for you, but it is the collective property of the Muslims and the acquisition of their swords. If you had taken part with them in their fighting you would have a share equal to theirs, otherwise the earning of their hands cannot be for other than their mouths. SERMON 230 ...
